Melanie is a British artist who moved to Dubai in 2011.
'The Taylor Wilkinson brand actually started out as a hair and makeup business. The makeup would usually be a 6 hour work of art using face and body paint to transform someone into a creature or character of their choice.
Seeing the face paint swirl into the drain when it had to be washed off made me so sad and drove me to more traditional forms of art that can be appreciated for longer, and that's when Taylor Wilkinson Art was born.
I now no longer paint hair or faces but I paint anything from family portraits, watercolor cards and bookmarks to canvases and large scale murals.
I'm happiest when I have a paintbrush in my hand'.
